School and Family Information
School parties and families are welcome to visit the fort. We offer a range of activities for groups. Families are welcome to download the worksheets below, and bring them along.
A typical primary school visit includes tours by the site warden, and a range of activities, from excavating in the sand box, to handling objects, and making your own mosaic. Most of the site is outside, and we have an education hut in which classes can eat their packed lunch.
