| This may be the site of Harehaugh tower house mentioned in historical records in 1541. However, the old farmhouse is the only surviving early 17th century house in the area, other than bastles. It is now used as an outbuilding and stands two storeys high and was probably built in the 16th or early 17th century. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
