Stagshaw Bank Cattle Fair (Sandhoe)

Stagshaw Bank was famous for its fairs. They were held on the 6th May for cattle and sheep, at Whitsun for horse and cattle, 4th July for horses, cattle and sheep and the 26th September for cattle and sheep. Two fairs for sheep only were held on 5th August
