| The origins of the farmhouse may be as a bastle. It dates back to the 16th or 17th centuries and was altered in the 19th century. The end walls may be all that remains of the bastle and the side walls may have been built about 1700. A probable medieval cross slab grave cover is built into one wall. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law. See also:
