| Fenham monastic grange survives as an earthwork. It was owned by Lindisfarne Priory on Holy Island. The site lies on sloping ground leading down to the coast and has clear views across the sea to Holy Island. The monument includes the remains of a manor house surrounded by a moat and a surrounding wall and a series of enclosures where service and agricultural buildings once stood, as well as crofts and tofts, fields and part of the mill race of Fenham Mill.
