Medieval boundary stone 420m SSE of Callaly Crag (Whittingham and Callaly)

This medieval boundary stone is one of a group that were erected between AD1050-1250 on Callaly Moor marking the limit of land belonging to Brinkburn Priory. The stone stands 1.5m high and is decorated with a cross on the west and east faces. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
