Bronze Age urn (Corbridge)
In 1809, in a field between Aydon Fell House and Aydon White House, workmen found a Bronze Age cinerary urn with its mouth facing downwards. Inside it was another, smaller urn, also facing downwards and a few bones lay inside. Unfortunately, the pots fell to pieces when they were moved.
