Roman road (Healey)

The modern road from Barleyhill to the edge of the Derwent Reservoir has long been thought to lie on the route of a Roman road. It could be part of a road which runs across Edmundbyers Common in County Durham northwards into Northumberland and alongside the Minsteracres estate towards Broomhaugh and Dere Street.
