Pattenshiel Knowe (Hepple)

This site includes the remains of an Iron Age or Roman date, which stands on a gentle slope of the moorland. It is oval in shape and surrounded by a stone bank. There are traces of at least three stone buildings inside it. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law
