Hillfort (Chollerton)

This Iron Age hillfort stands on the summit of Oxhill. It is surrounded on three sides by steep hill slopes. It is surrounded by a single earth and stone rampart. The remains of at least two possible buildings can be seen inside the enclosure. A slight ditch runs across the south side of the site. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
