Keys to the Past

Yarridge (Hexham)

This is the probable site of the deserted medieval village of Yarridge. It was first recorded in historical documents dating to the early 12th century. Only three buildings were marked there in a 1749 map, and all that remains there is a single farm. No earthworks can be seen.
