Keys to the Past

Pawston Hill Camp (Kilham)

These are the remains of an Iron Age settlement. There is a large oval enclosure, surrounded by three ramparts and two ditches. Within this enclosure are a series of parallel banks. A modern wall also crosses the middle rampart. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
