Bastle at Girsonfield Farmhouse (Otterburn)
The foundations of an old building stand at Girsonfield. Its north wall measures 1.2m thick and, in the 1970s, stood 1.5m high. The remains suggest this was a bastle and it may be the building referred to in old documents that stood here in the later 16th or early 17th century.
