Coathill bastle (Bellingham)

A bastle is believed to have stood at Coathill. The remains stood 3m when they were first recorded and measured in 1967, but by 1995 they were reduced to a rubbly mound no more than about 1m high. The bastle measured about 11m by 7m in plan.
