Boweshill bastle (Bellingham)

A bastle, now ruined, has been incorporated in field walls. Only the east and north walls survive and they measure over 1m thick. There are a few architectural features visible, for example a blocked slit vent. Although only a fragment of the building survives the remains are quite dramatic.
