Fold Hill enclosed settlement (Simonburn)

This is an enclosed settlement of Iron Age or Roman date. A modern sheepfold lies in the north-west corner of the enclosure. To the east is a large area of prehistoric cord rig. The enclosure is rectangular and is surrounded by a large earth bank with an entrance on the east side.
