Allenshead and Dirt Pot (Allendale)

This is a planned industrial village, built mainly in the early 19th century. It was a showplace headquarters for the Blackett-Beaumont lead industry and was equipped with mine, smelt mill, shop, school, public house and houses for mine workers.
