Camp Cottage settlement (Tarset with Greystead)

These are the remains of an Iron Age or Roman period settlement. Traces of a rectangular earthwork overlooking the River North Tyne can still be seen. It is surrounded by two ramparts. Two fragments of querns have been found here.
