Cist (Simonburn)

Four large stones arranged like a stone-lined grave have been found here. The easternmost stone is capped by two clear Bronze Age cup marks, with other badly eroded.

Historical period: Neolithic (4000BC to 2200BC)
Bronze Age (2600BC to 700BC)
