Brewery on the Haltwhistle Burn (Haltwhistle)
On the east bank of the Haltwhistle Burn there was a brewery. It is marked on the first edition (6 inch) Ordnance Survey map of about 1860 and comprised a short row of two storey cottages and a cart shed. The brewery was established before 1825.
