Report of an Iron Age settlement at Hall Knowe (Kielder)
A 19th century writer reported seeing the remains of a terraced, enclosed Iron Age settlement at Hall Knowe. The area was planted with trees during the 20th century. The trees have now been felled and the ground ploughed. There are no traces left of any earthworks.
