Remains of a shieling near Parker's Shield sheepfold (Knaresdale with Kirkhaugh)

Farmers built a stone shieling here in the medieval period. The shieling is now ruined, but the remains of the walls can be seen, next to the tumbled walls of Parker's Shield sheepfold.
