Bastle at Kirkhaugh Farm (Knaresdale with Kirkhaugh)

The farm buildings north east of Kirkhaugh farmhouse incorporate a bastle. This bastle was built after 1540, in the post-medieval period. Archaeologists call this bastle Kirkhaugh II.
