Coastguard Cottages camp (Newton-by-the-Sea)

This is the site of a cottage, once used as a lookout by the Coastguard. Slight earthworks have been recorded in the area, though no remains can be seen today. A small amount of human bone was found here in the early 1990s, though its date and purpose is unknown.
