Possible Iron Age settlement at Ratcheugh Crag (Longhoughton)

Nineteenth century writers report the remains of an Iron Age settlement which they called Ratcheugh Crag Camp. A linear bank near the supposed location of the `camp' may be a prehistoric earthwork, but it could be a land boundary from any period.
