Hadston Mill (Togston)

The mill at Hadston was first recorded in 1257. Its site was near the boundary between Low Coldrife Farm and Togston Low Hall. The mill was mentioned again in 1663. All that can be seen here now is a slight earth mound. The lack of any water at this site suggest that it was probably a windmill.
