Trows (Alwinton)

This small site is probably the remains of a Romano-British farm. The remains of at least two hut circles surrounded by a bank a ditch can be seen. Fragments of locally made pottery made during the Roman period have also been found in the area. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
