Belford West Hall (Belford with Middleton)

This is the site of a tower, which was surrounded by a moat. In the 19th century a number of human bones and a pair of 15th century spurs were found. The north-east and the eastern sections of the moat have been destroyed by a modern farm, and the rest damaged by ploughing. It was mentioned in a written document in 1415.
