Bronze Age axe hammer, Brownieside (Ellingham)

A polished stone axe hammer is reported to have been discovered at Brownyside Moor in the later 19th century. It measured about 21.5cm long by 11cm wide and was donated to the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle.
