St Maurice's Well (Ellingham)
A well or spring dedicated to St Maurice, is recorded in a 12th century deed. A well near Ellingham also bears this name and is a small stone built recess in the side of a stream bank. Although the stonework has medieval characteristics it is not clear whether this is the well referred to in the medieval deed.
