The Victoria Infant's School (Alnwick)
This school was founded in 1838 on land given by John Lambert. It was reformed in 1854 as ' The Ragged School'. Ragged Schools were founded to provide free education for working class children. After 1870 the school became part of the national system of schools. The school is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
