Greensfield Moor Farm burial cist (Denwick)

A Bronze Age burial cist was discovered on Greensfield Moor Farm in 1868. The cist was made of limestone slabs and contained an inhumation burial of a young person, a pottery urn and a flint tool. Today, there is no trace of the cist and the site of the discovery seems to have been lost from local memory.
