Lemmington Branch Roman homestead (Edlingham)
A small circular enclosure, scooped into the hillside, lies just north of Lemmington Branch. The enclosure is surrounded by a bank, with an entrance through the north side. Inside the enclosure is a circular platform that is thought to be the remains of a hut circle. The settlement is probably Romano-British in date.
|Historical period:||Roman (43 to 410)|
