Swineleas deserted village (Denwick)

Swineleas is first mentioned in documents in the 16th century, although a 17th century survey makes reference to the place in the 14th century. The only trace of a medieval presence here is ridge and furrow cultivation in the fields. No sign of any deserted village has been seen.
