Newtown Mill, Lilburn (Tillside)

Newtown Mill was a water-powered corn mill, in use in the 19th century. The mill buildings are now used as farm buildings. The wheel pit survives. Archaeologists don't known when the mill was first built, or if an earlier mill once stood on the same site as the present buildings.
