Defended settlement (Edlingham)

An Iron Age defended settlement lies on the lower northern slopes of Rimside Moor. It is circular in shape and is enclosed by a rampart and ditch. There are two original entrances, one in the north-west and the other on the south-east. Another break in the rampart is probably of more recent origin. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
