Keys to the Past

Cocklaw Hills (Berwick upon Tweed)

At least four stone-lined graves have been found in this field. One contained pieces of burnt bone and the fragments of a pot. Another contained a pot, several jet beads and two flint beads. These are almost certainly Bronze Age burials.
