Keys to the Past

Barmoor Mill (Lowick)

There has been a mill here since the early 14th century. It was repeatedly damaged by raids in the later 14th century. The current mill building is probably of 18th or 19th century date. It is now used as a farmstore, and still contains a pair of millstones.
