West Allerdean Deserted Village (Ancroft)

The modern settlement of West Allerdean only contains a few houses, but it was once a large medieval village. However, no visible remains can be seen on the ground today. Villages often shrank, or were even completely deserted, in the late medieval and early post-medieval times.
