Ewart chapel (Ewart)

The Ordnance Survey map of 1965 shows a disused burial ground near Ewart Newtown. It was still in use until the early 18th century when there was also a chapel nearby. The chapel has since fallen down or been demolished and there are no traces of it or of its graveyard. This may have been the site of the medieval chapel at Ewart, which is recorded in a medieval document in 1342.
