Keys to the Past

Tower (Kirknewton)

A stone tower was recorded at Kirknewton in 1415. A survey of 1715 said that it was a large tower with circular towers. The tower has now disappeared, but it probably stood to the south-east of the church and the south-west of the Parsonage house.
