Deserted Medieval Village of Humbleton (Akeld)

This is the site of the deserted medieval village of Humbleton. Documentary references mention the site from the 13th century until the early 19th century, but little survives today. All that can be seen are a few earthworks, which are probably the remains of medieval or post-medieval houses.
