Round cairn on Hart Heugh (Earle)

These are the remains of a Bronze Age burial cairn standing on the summit of Hart Heugh. It is oval in shape and is covered by turf. The centre of the stone cairn has been disturbed, possibly as a result of excavations in the 19th century or early 20th century. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
