Hazeltonrig Deserted Village (Alnham)

It has been suggested that this site is the location of the little known medieval village of Hazeltonrig. In the medieval and post-medieval periods villages might shrink in size or even disappear completely. Sometimes they were even moved on purpose by the landowners.
