Hartside Hill (Ingram)

These are the remains of a number of settlements on Hartside Hill. The earlier settlement is a large complex of stone hut circles, which are probably of Roman date. Two large enclosures to the north, containing the foundations of two rectangular buildings are probably medieval. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
