Haggle Rigg settlement (Simonburn)
This is a roughly triangular enclosure, surrounded by a low bank with an entrance in the south-east side. The remains of a possible round house can be seen inside it and there are traces of a field system to the south-east. This is probably an Iron Age or Roman date.
