Bronze Age Objects (East Bedlington)
A number of unusual objects were taken from the River Blyth in 1890. As well as many animal bones a Bronze Age spearhead and sword were found. Two human skulls were also recovered. This group of objects may have been deliberately put in the river for religious reasons.
