Medieval Hospital (Newbiggin-by-the-Sea)
A medieval hospital was recorded at this site. It was closed down sometime after AD1500. The foundations of an old building and three stone coffins were found here in 1929, when some tennis courts were being built. There are no remains to be seen here now.
