Linton Mill (Ellington and Linton)
Documentary evidence shows that there was a mill at Linton in the 14th century. The same site was probably occupied by a mill until the late 19th century, when the old mill was demolished. In the 19th century, the old mill stood in a small enclosure with a ditch on one side. This ditch may have been the original mill race.
|Historical period:||Medieval (1066 to 1540)|
