Brinkburn Ironworks (Brinkburn and Hesleyhurst)

The ironworks were established in the mid-19th century but only operated for a short time. The site contains a number of features including stone buildings, a chimney base possibly related to a blowing engine and boiler house, slag heaps, mine shafts, a possible furnace site dating to the 1850s, and a waggonway.
